Norton 360 2014

Norton 360 Editor's Review

If you want all-encompassing, fully-fledged Internet security and protection, then the Norton 360 All-in-One Security package may be for you. Norton 360 includes the Norton AntiVirus software that the Norton brand is recognised for, and Norton Internet Security, the live protection suite. Yet Norton 360 also offers secured, online storage space so that you can back up your most important files. This trial software gives you the chance to try all of this for 60 days.

The Norton AntiVirus software is probably one of the most recognised antivirus packages online and this reputation is met with mixed comments. While Norton are very good at offering regular updates, a great community and antivirus software that works, the price and computer performance slowdown annoys many. Also, considering that (at time of going to press) Norton 360 was over twice as expensive as Norton Internet Security, simply for some online storage space, the extra money hardly seems worth it. Especially as online secure storage space such as this can be found for free online.

Pros: All-encompassing security solution.

Cons: The 360 package is overpriced with features that you can get for free elsewhere.

Conclusion: Norton creates great antivirus and security protection tools but the extras thrown into Norton 360 are drastically overpriced for what they are. Free online storage is easy to find with instant backup options available as well. While we highly recommend Norton AntiVirus and Internet Security, the full-blown package isn’t worth it. That said, for 60 days you can get the whole lot for free, so why not?
